Delhi Crime Branch officials made a second visit to the residence of Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi, aiming to serve a notice related to the party's accusation against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly attempting to lure AAP MLAs. Although Atishi was not present during the morning visit, her office staff accepted the notice on her behalf, according to AAP sources.

A senior officer from the Delhi Police Crime Branch stated, "The team will make another attempt to serve the notice to Atishi. She was not present at her residence this morning." This development comes after a notice was served to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal the previous day by crime branch officials, seeking a response within three days regarding his claims that the BJP tried to attract seven AAP MLAs. Later in the day, both Kejriwal and Atishi are scheduled to lay the foundation stones of two schools in Rohini. On January 27, both Kejriwal and Atishi alleged that the BJP was attempting to lure AAP MLAs with offers of Rs 25 crore each and a ticket to contest in the upcoming assembly polls, with the aim of overthrowing the AAP government. The BJP has dismissed these allegations as "false" and "baseless," challenging the chief minister to provide evidence supporting his claims.
